There are several ways to bring parent or grandparent to Canada, such as Canada’s parents and grandparents sponsorship program. It has a yearly cap on the number of applications that are accepted. When this cap is reached, there is still the Super Visa Program which allows parents and grandparents to come to Canada on extended multi-entry visas that could last up to a total of 10 years.
Whichever program you opt for, the parent or grandparent must meet the minimum eligibility requirements, and the sponsor meets the sponsorship requirements of Canada. Here, at Wiser Immigration, the conditions are described below so that you can understand the terms and get ready to apply with us, start with your free assessment today.
Parent Or Grandparent Super Visa
The Parent or Grandparent Super Visa is designed for the parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents to come to Canada as visitors. Parents or grandparents of permanent residents and Canadian citizens may be eligible to apply for the Super Visa. The candidates cannot be inadmissible to Canada based on health or security. Additionally, they have to meet specific conditions required through which they will be applying.
Remember, no dependents can be included in this application. Only parents or grandparents, together with their spouses or common-law partners, will be included when applying for the Super Visa.
